Yes, the driver will need to present a valid credit card in the driver's name. Debit cards are not accepted.
How is Payment made for Extras Purchased at time of Hire?
All Extras as Child Seats, ski racks, Snow chains, Roof racks or Luggage top boxes will either be payable in advance or locally depending on the supplier.
Are Additional Drivers Allowed?
Some companies allow one additional driver free of charge but most make a small charge. Each rental company will be able to advise you of this at time of booking. Some all-inclusive Rates do already include one additional Driver.
Do I need a credit card to hire a car?
Yes, All companies will require a credit card imprint at time of hire to cover any excess charges that may be incurred during the period of hire, Such as Petrol/Diesel, Damage, Loss or Theft. Debit cards are not accepted.
How old do I have to be to rent a car?
Most major car rental companies require renters to be a minimum of 25 years of age. Some car rental companies do allow renters at the minimum age of 18 but there is an increase in the rate of the rental and a deposit is required.
